Music Therapy Services
All of our music therapists have a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education and Music Therapy. Research shows that music therapy helps to improve speech and communication, fine and gross motor skills, academic performance, social skills, behavior, and social-emotional skills. During your first music therapy session, the therapist will evaluate your child's needs and interview the parents/family to see what your goals for music therapy are. Based on this information, the therapist will then design goals and activities that will help to meet your child's individual needs. Parents will be given an update on progress, instructions for working with their child at home, and home activities after every treatment session.
